Summer on Stage is a comprehensive theatre training and performance program sponsored by Arizona Theatre Company, the leading professional theatre in Arizona, offering the opportunity for youth to develop and grow their skills in theatre arts.

Led by theatre professionals and teaching artists, the program engages participants in an intense study of performance and technical theatre using a variety of acting courses – including character development, voice, movement, dance, and scene and monologue study – and a limited number of technical internships in theatrical design, construction, and stage management. The technique classes and rehearsal process culminate in two fully realized productions performed on the main stage at the Temple of Music and Art in downtown Tucson.

Now in its 45th season, ATC has a strong reputation for producing quality theatre. We partner with the nationally recognized University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television to support this amazing learning experience.
