What is Summer on Stage?

Summer on Stage: Tucson is a five-week theatre training program that encompasses Summer Backstage and which culminates in fully-realized productions performed on the main stage of the Temple of Music and Art.

Summer on Stage: Phoenix is an immersive two-week experience combining classical theatre techniques with modern storytelling at the Mesa Arts Center.

Both programs are led by Arizona Theatre Company staff and local theatre teaching artists and provide in-depth, quality training experiences for high school students looking to unleash their creativity over the summer.
