Cast Bios
RYAN ARCHIBALD
Ryan Archibald has worked all over the world for The Second City as a member of their National Touring Company, aboard the MS Norwegian Jewel, Gem and Star, and at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. He enjoys teaching and directing at the iO theater in Chicago where he plays in the Armando Show and with Bullet Lounge. Mr. Archibald is also a member of the Boom Chicago family in Amsterdam where he has been a part of seven revues including: Why Aren't You Happy Yet?; Me, Myself and iPod; Last One To Leave The Planet…Turn Off the Lights!; and Screw the Planet, Save the Oil.
AMANDA BLAKE DAVIS
Amanda Blake Davis is a veteran of The Second City e.t.c. stage, where she wrote and performed in five original revues, including Disposable Nation, Campaign Supernova and Studs Terkel's Not Working, for which she received a Jeff Award for Best Actress in a Revue. Prior to that, she performed with The Second City Las Vegas and The Second City National Touring Company. She is member of the all-female improv group Virgin Daquiri and plays with Baby Wants Candy. She is a graduate of Providence College and grew up in Auburn, Massachusetts.
CODY DOVE
Cody Dove was a mainstage cast member of The Second City Cleveland, where he wrote and performed in Rivercan't: The Trafficanterbury Tales, For Those About to Iraq, Who's Yer Baghdadi? and No Shirt, No Shoes, No WMDs. Since then, he has traveled the world (Istanbul, Cairo, Trondheim, Venice, and everywhere in between) while performing within a partnership between Norwegian Cruise Lines and The Second City. When in his home state of New Mexico, he performs with Joe Carney in the two-man show Cleveland at The Box Performance Space in Albuquerque. In Chicago, when he's not teaching at The Second City Training Center, he occasionally performs at the iO improvisational theater. He's also done some commercials and voice-overs, and his television work was awarded an Emmy. Recently, he collaborated with writer Scott Turow on a live-action murder mystery.
LAUREN DOWDEN
Lauren Dowden originally from Pittsburgh, was recently seen on The Second City's e.t.c. stage and at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in Rod Blagojevich Superstar as Lisa Madigan. She was also in Reverie at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Other Second City credits include The Not Ready For $3.99 Prime Rib Players (Las Vegas); No Shirt, No Shoes, No Weapons of Mass Destruction and Who's Yer Baghdadi? (Cleveland). Ms. Dowden's Boom Chicago (Amsterdam) credits include Rockstars and Europe: We've Created a Monster, both of which toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Her regional credits include productions of The Miracle Worker, Crimes of the Heart, Cloud 9, Dancing at Lughnasa, Bedroom Farce, The Maids, 'dentity Crisis and iO (Chicago, L.A.).
MARTIN GARCIA
Martin Garcia has been with The Second City since 1995. He toured with The Second City National Touring Company for 2 ½ years. In 1998, he moved up to The Second City, e.t.c. stage co-writing and performing in three revues, The Revelation Will Not Be Televised, History Repaints Itself and Better Late than Nader. He received Jeff nominations for Best Actor in a Review for his first two revues. In 2001, he moved to The Second City Mainstage co-writing and performing another three revues entitled Embryos on Ice or Fetus Don't Fail Me Now, Thank Heaven It Wasn't 7/11 and No, Seriously, We're All Going to Die. Mr. Garcia also performed at The Second City in Las Vegas and has performed on four Norwegian Cruise Lines cruise ships with The Second City visiting the Caribbean, Atlantic, Mediterranean, Baltic and Pacific.
ANDEL SUDIK
Andel Sudik was born in Chicago and raised in California. She performed and traveled all over the U.S. with the Second City Touring Company. After that, she spent two long years living and performing in Amsterdam with Boom Chicago.
